Update:The International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) will be increasing from $35 to $100, affecting visitor visa and student visa costs.

Immigration NZ has just announced upcoming fee increases in line with the government’s election promises in 2023 to reduce the tax burden on New Zealanders through ensuring Immigration fees cover the costs of running Immigration NZ.

From 1st October 2024, most visa category fees will increase quite significantly.

The important message is that if you have been considering submitting a visa application this year, it makes sense to contact us and get this process started before the fees rise.

Note that applicants from the pacific islands generally have a lower overall fee than below
